AUBURN, Ala.- Water Resource Management is inspecting the sewer basin between Shug Jordan Parkway and Yarbrough Farms Boulevard to determine areas that might need repairs or maintenance. As part of the work, City staff will perform smoke testing Wednesday, Dec. 17, through Thursday, Dec. 18, to help identify potential issues in the system.

Nearby residents may observe smoke near manhole lids and other outlets. The smoke is considered harmless to both people and pets. Signs will be present to notify residents as well.

Those near the testing areas will receive door hangers with information about the project. A detailed map of the testing area is available below.
